  1. In hypertensive patients with paroxysmal/persistent AF, RAAS inhibition with ACEIs/ARBs could prevent AF recurrence, but evidence is notyet conclusive.
  2. It is unclear whether achievement of more intensive BP control in anticoagulated patients with AF reduces the risk of thromboembolic stroke and serious bleeding.
  3. In the four pivotal trials of NOACs vs. warfarin in patients with nonvalvular AF, HT did not interfere with the effects of these drugs vs. warfarin.
